莫西子詩是一位主要活躍在北京的彝族音樂人，於2014年九月發行了首張專輯《原野》。整張專輯用彝語創作。莫西也曾參與電影及話劇的配樂 。

莫西子詩的音樂風格以民謠和世界音樂為主，也摻有搖滾與實驗的因素。專輯製作人和樂隊吉他手李平曾為《萬能青年旅店》的錄音師，竇唯亦參與了《原野》的部份製作。

莫西在2014年初參與中國好歌曲并摘得第二名，他的彝語歌曲《Ajielo》由於2012年吉克雋逸在中國好聲音的演唱廣為人知。莫西同樣受邀參與製作紀念作家蕭紅的音樂合集《自由之聲──當代民謠合集》，一同參與的還有小河與周雲蓬。

莫西子詩樂隊曾參加迷笛音樂節、草莓音樂節、簡單生活節、麗江COART藝術現場等多個音樂節，現正在全國巡演途中。

中国の既成ポップスを飛び越える圧倒的な歌の力を持つ彼は、一躍シンガソングライターとして注目を集めた。
その後、北京を中心に本格的な音楽活動を開始する。

2014年に北京でデビューアルバム「原野」をリリース。
自らのルーツである彝(イ)族の言語と民族楽器を中心に収録された「原野」は、主に中国のSNSを中心として中国全土に浸透していく。
バンドを率いて敢行した中国全土ツアーも成功を収め、多くのファンを獲得した。

2015年に、東京を中心に活動する中国人女性アーティスト程璧（チェン・ビー）の2ndアルバム「あなたと上の空/我想和你虚度时光」をプロデュース。
音楽だけでなく、映像を含めた多岐に渡る彼の芸術性が高い評価を受けるきっかけとなる。
同じく2015年の夏、中国のアーティストを海外に発信する日本のレーベル「PANDA RECORD」とアーティスト契約を結び、世界に向けて活動を開始した。
モーシー（莫西子诗）は、高原を抜けて空に響くやまびこのようだ。

普段は素朴で優しい佇まい。
でも、歌い始めた瞬間に周りの空気を強烈に振るわせる圧倒的な声を持つ。

彼は「山のこだま」なんだろう。
